KCPD is investigating a homicide after a man was transported to Research Medical Center with gunshot wounds

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The Kansas City Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a man dead early Sunday morning.

According to KCPD, officers were dispatched to Research Medical Center around 1:30 a.m. on Nov. 24 after a man was brought in with gunshot wounds.

The victim eventually died and it is unclear what led up to the shooting.

The shooting is believed to have occurred at 63rd Street and Manchester Avenue. Detectives are canvassing the area for evidence, speaking to witnesses and appealing for any information that could lead to an arrest.

Anyone with information is asked to contact homicide detectives directly at 816-234-5043 or the TIPS Hotline anonymously at 816-474-TIPS. There is a reward of up to $25,000 for information submitted anonymously to the TIPS Hotline.
