Man dead after being shot in McDonalds near Paradise, Sands; no arrest

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is currently on the scene of a homicide investigation near the Las Vegas Strip.

The incident was reported just after 4:46 p.m. at a business near the 3700 block of Paradise Road after officers received information that a man had been shot inside a business.

The police were able to locate the man who was suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to Sunrise Hospital, where he later died.

According to police, preliminary details reveal that the victim was inside the business when the two suspects entered.

After words were exchanged, one of the suspects pulled out a firearm and shot the man.

Both fled the scene before police arrived.

The men are described as black male adults. One wears a black shirt or hoodie with a black cap and the other wears a green shirt with a green cap.

Authorities also added that the shooting does not appear to be random and that there is currently no threat to the community.

This comes just hours after a man wasshot dead in a traffic incident about a mile away near the Palazzo.

Police are expected to be on the scene for 3-4 hours.
