At around 01:15 GMT on Tuesday, police received another report of a break-in at Knobblies Bike Shop on Exeter Road, in which seven high-value bikes were taken.

Det Insp Guy Biggar said: “We are currently investigating a series of burglaries which took place overnight from Monday November 25 to Tuesday November 26.

“It is not clear that they are all linked, but as part of our investigation we are asking residents in these areas to check their personal CCTV cameras or doorbells to see if they have any footage that could assist with our enquiries.”

Anyone who can assist police in their investigation is asked to contact the force.
