Dhanush takes legal action against Nayanthara; Samantha talks about her divorce

Actor Dhanush has filed a civil suit against Nayanthara, accusing her of using footage from his production Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in her Netflix documentary without his consent. According to The Hindu, the suit was filed in the Madras High Court and names both Nayanthara and her director husband Vignesh Sivan as defendants.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya announced their divorce in October 2021, a few days before their wedding anniversary. Bollywood actor R Madhavan has spoken about Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein’s failure at the box office. The actor, who attended the IFFI 2024 in Goa on Tuesday, confessed that he visited several temples at the time of the release of Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein. He recalled that he prayed hard for the success of the film but it did not work in his favour. The actor admitted he was heartbroken at the time, but was pleasantly surprised that the film did well when it was re-released earlier this year.
