A special agent for FBI was arrested for sexual assaults several women he lured to his tattoo shop for an alleged photo shoot.

Eduardo Valdivia, 40, had suspend by the FBI pending a police investigation into the allegations. He was arrested at Gaithersburg, MarylandMonday and charged with two counts of second-degree rape, four counts of fourth-degree sexual assault and four counts of second-degree assault, conformable to Montgomery County Police.

One statement released by the Montgomery County Police Department, Valdivia is accused of rape by two women, both 21, who claim the agent and the tattoo shop owner “lured them to the tattoo studio under the guise of modeling opportunities with Exeter Models. .” One of the women said the person she communicated with on Instagram about the possible modeling job was called “Lalo Brown,” and both women thought they were corresponding with another woman until they showed up at the DC Fine Line Tattoos store.

Valdivia owns the shop and leases the space in which the shop is housed, but does not have a valid license to operate a tattoo shop connected to the shop’s address.

Assistant Police Chief Nicholas Augustine detained a press conference on Tuesday, during which he provided more details about the alleged sexual assaults of the two women who came forward. One of the women told police that Valdivia promised her a free tattoo in exchange for the work being photographed in a modeling shoot that took place at a later date. She claimed that Valdivia assaulted her during the photo shoot.

“Following this attack,” Augustine said, “the victim was coerced and threatened with legal action.”

The story of the second victim was similar.

The alleged victims were unaware of Valdivia’s status as an FBI agent, nor is it known whether he was on duty at the time of the reported attacks.

Augustine confirmed that Valdivia’s apparent plan involving the two identified victims dates back to February and that the investigation began in October when a woman came forward to report a sexual assault. He noted that Valdivia’s pattern of alleged attacks “could have started with other victims before that.”

“We want the community to know that regardless of whether you sign a contract, that doesn’t allow you to be sexually assaulted,” Augustine said. “And we want victims to come forward, whether they sign something that says ‘confidentiality’ or something like that, to tell us about it so we can help them and we can bring them closure.”

Robert Bonsib, Valdivia’s defense lawyer, maintain his client’s innocence in a statement to The Associated Press, saying the women came to the store voluntarily and that the visits were “consensual.”

Valdivia was previously arrested in 2020 for allegedly shooting a man on a subway train in Washington, DC. He was acquitted of all charges.
