Jesse James and Bonnie Rotten’s Messy Divorce: Every Allegation

Jesse James and Bonnie Rotten have made multiple accusations against each other throughout their divorce battle.

We weekly confirmed in November that Rotten, 31, filed for divorce from James, 55, after two years of marriage. In his petition, Rotten listed the date of their separation as November 5.

“The marriage has become untenable because of the discord or conflict of personalities between the petitioner and the respondent which destroys the legitimate purposes of the marriage relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation,” the court documents Us read, citing the grounds of a divorce.

In her filing, Rotten (real name Alaina Antoinnette James) demanded “exclusive use and control” of the 2022 Dodge Ram TRX and wanted to bar James from being able to track or monitor its location. She also wanted to retain ownership of the clothing, books, firearms and related equipment that are stored in a private gun rooma pet cat named Olive and other personal effects.

Rotten and James share a son, Bishop, who was born in June 2023and wants to be appointed as the toddler’s “conservator” to choose Bishop’s primary residence and school. Rotten also asked for child support from James, the ability to change his last name back to Hicks and for the court to seal all records.

James, meanwhile, also wants exclusive use of the couple’s residence in Austin, Texas, including all furniture, personal effects and his 1995 Humvee.

While Rotten is seeking primary guardianship over Bishop, James has asked to be appointed a guardian ad litem while Rotten’s sobriety is evaluated. James requested that Rotten only receive visitation time with Bishop as long as she is sober, submitting a 12-panel hair or nail follicle drug test to his attorney.

In addition to filing for divorce, Rotten also sought an order of protection “in connection with a child support case,” claiming that James “has engaged in conduct that constitutes domestic violence.” According to Rotten, James “committed acts that would result in physical harm, bodily harm, assault or sexual assault” or threatened to do so.

She further accused James of repeatedly hitting, pushing and assaulting her throughout their relationship.

For example, Rotten claimed that James “got mad” in November 2022 when she asked him to remove her seven dogs from their bedroom so she could rest comfortably during her pregnancy with Bishop. In response, he allegedly “pushed (her) repeatedly with two arms in the chest and shoulders” and “slammed (her) left forearm into the bedroom door.”

Rotten also claimed that James “forcefully pushed (her) away with two hands” earlier this month, hours before he “furiously threw” a clean diaper at their son.

“I could tell that Jesse Gregory James’ anger was getting worse,” she claimed in the documents. “To protect our child and myself, I left home with (Bishop) and decided to get a divorce. Because of all the things he has done, I am very afraid that Jesse Gregory James will physically harm me, physically harm me, or attack me.”

Meanwhile, James inserted a “blanket denial” into his official response and demanded that Rotten “take nothing.” He also sought an order of protection against Rotten, claiming she committed domestic violence.

“The respondent committed acts which were intended by the respondent to result in bodily injury, bodily harm, assault or sexual assault or were threats which reasonably placed the complainant and the child Bishop Morrison James in fear of physical harm imminent bodily harm or assault,” James. ‘ the documents are read. “Therefore, the actions of the respondent constitute domestic violence. The defendant’s conduct was reasonably likely to harass, annoy, alarm, abuse, torment or embarrass the plaintiff and Bishop Morrison James.”

James also asked that Rotten’s license to carry a handgun be suspended and he should be required to complete a hit-and-run intervention counseling program.

“Alaina has problems related to alcohol abuse and he becomes violent and aggressive, putting me and our son at risk,” James claimed. “The first time I saw Alaina exhibit violent behavior was on April 14, 2022, when she attacked me in my home and grabbed my finger and tried to break it.”

He further accused Rotten of frequently yelling or “aggressively” grabbing their son while she was “very drunk and belligerent.” James also claimed that Rotten “was abusing our pets.”

“On April 28, 2023, my housekeeper Carmen told me that she saw Alaina intentionally leave the back door open so that she would get out and get attacked by the dogs, which is what happened,” he wrote in the filing . “Alaina and my daughter (from a previous relationship) do not have a good relationship. The cat ended up paralyzed and had to be euthanized due to its extensive injuries. I have security video of her leaving the door open and the cat escaping. The housekeeper and I think he did it on purpose.”

He added: “After that incident I got my daughter another cat. My housekeepers Carmen and Pilar saw Alaina beating and hitting that cat and throwing it against the wall. The cat was bleeding from the anus and mouth and urinating. … Both cats were very sick and very injured. I think he attacked these two cats relentlessly because he doesn’t like my daughter who is in college.”

James also claimed he believed Rotten had “severely beaten” all their pet dogs with a metal pole.

“(Bonnie) filed a protective order against me that I believe was filed in bad faith because it contains numerous false statements designed to shift the blame onto me,” James concluded. “The reality is that I am the victim of repeated and increasing violence and threats. I am truly concerned for my safety and that of my son and am seeking this protective order to set boundaries to prevent further violence from Alaina and to protect myself and our child.”
