Man accused of assaulting women in multiple TN counties arrested in Hendersonville

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Hendersonville Police Department (HPD) announced the arrest of a man accused of similar crimes in several counties in Middle Tennessee.

On Nov. 20, HPD received a report of a suspect following someone home from work on Southburn Drive. A deputy with the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office attempted to stop the man who then fled in his vehicle.

HPD responded and assisted in the arrest of that suspect following a brief foot pursuit.

Through its investigation, HPD learned that the suspect, 36-year-old Justin Taylor, was responsible for another incident that occurred on November 13th in Hendersonville. Taylor was accused of groping a woman’s bottom without her permission.

HPD added that he was also found to have committed similar crimes in Nashville at his former place of employment on Nov. 13 and in Wilson County on an earlier date.

He has since been charged in those incidents.

Taylor faces charges of reckless endangerment, evading arrest and sexual assault.

“If you have any information about this or other related incidents, please contact the Hendersonville Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division at (615) 264-5303 or Hendersonville Crime Stoppers at 615-594-4113. Tips can also be submitted using the P3 Tips mobile app,” HPD said.
