The documentary’s question, “Did the luxury store protect a billionaire predator?”, sent Qatar’s state-run Harrods Ltd into a panic, buying one of Britain’s most prized assets from Al Fayed for 1.5 billion pounds sterling in 2010. In it, 20 former Harrods employees detail how they were sexually assaulted or raped by Al Fayed, who walked around the stores he picked up victims from the age of 15 and later attacked them at various locations, including his flat in Park Lane, Ritz Pariswhich he also owned, as well as Villa Windsor, the former home of the Duke of Windsor and Wallis Simpson, which he spent £12 million renovating to be closer to the royal family – something he managed in the the latter to do, both himself, and through his son Dodi, who died in an accident with Princess Diana when they left the Ritz Paris in 1997.
